Cycle Challenge 2009

The Taupo Cycle Challenge has been run and done again for another year and all competitors staying at the Lodge finished and all in one piece. The group from Dainty Alderton handled the day with aplomb and our regular guests and new-comers performed well. Special mention for Peter from National Park who completed 2 laps (320km) and lived to tell the tale. We look forward to having everybody back on deck next year with bigger ambitions and targets in tow (Go Benny!). The Charteris Family (Auck), Evans Family (New Plymouth), Pete F. (Nat. Park), Shinny and Family (Japan), Verne & Di (Ranfurly, the other Island) and the Madels all added to the effort and thanks to everybody.
