Rafting New Zealand.....what can we say? Great value, great service and a genuine team who care about their guests. Ryan, Matt and Rich spent an afternoon being impressed by their fun approach to showing off their fantastic outdoors and the great Tongariro. Surely one of the most scenic stretches of water anywhere in the world and what a way to see it.....bouncing over rocks, through walls of water and really getting the adrenalin rush they promise. A special treat is jumping off the concealed water fall and really conquering those fears!
Check out their website for more information www.raftingnewzealand.co.nz

If staying here at the Windsor, they will collect you at the gate and bring you back afterwards so you can chill out and really enjoy the experience.

After travelling to the South Island (with Bluebridge of course), we recommend an afternoon on the Marlborough Sounds fishing with Colin and Helen of the Tao Tai. It is a great value, 6 hour trip with spectacular scenery and great fishing. Colin and Helen can be contacted at:

or by asking at Windsor Lodge Reception.

Here is a treat! Dave and Mawera offer the all-purpose hunting and fishing experience from their base at Whakatane.
Please check out their websites:
www.trousertrout.co.nz and www.feathergirl.co.nz for the full story. We encourage you to support them as you do us and get a real experience rather than the BIG COMMERCIAL one that we are constantly barraged with . Good team that will entertain you and make that trip memorable.
Our Honorary Waitahanui Resident Jeremy has headed back home after another lengthy stay by the Rip. As always, it was a pleasure to have him around and entertain the masses with his tales and fishing expertise. We recommend you take a peak at his great website where you can view his wares and catch up on his travels and experiences.
